The International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) was founded in 1949 and is a non-governmental, non-political and non-religious organization representing about 350,000 pharmacy students and recent graduates in over 60 countries worldwide. IPSF holds official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It aims to study and promote the interests of pharmacy students and to encourage international co-operation amongst them.

IPSF is committed to ensuring quality pharmacy education, and strives to provide pharmacy students around the globe with avenues to broaden their knowledge base. It conducts original research on issues relevant to the profession and education in a bid to engage pharmacy students in scientific research and to advance pharmacy education worldwide.
