From SCOME Wiki
What is the purpose of having a SCOME-wikipedia?
At the 54. August Meeting of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA) in Hurghada, Egypt, the idea was born to have a new kind of interactive forum for National Officers (NOMEs), Local Officers (LOMEs) and everybody interested in Medical Education.
In contrast to other Wikipedias, IFMSA's SCOME-wikipedia aims to share ideas, to describe, and to discuss lastest developments in the field of medical education worldwide rather than to provide scientific articles.
Users shall describe interesting courses and concepts that are implemented in their local curriculum and be able to provide further information when the article is being discussed in the "discussion"-tab on top of each article.
National Officers are invited to share projects their National Member Organisation (NMO) is running in the field of medical education. They shall also write articles about their NMO, the role of SCOME in their NMO and on local level, about the educational system in their country, admission criteria for studying medicine, about the different faculties in their country and any other thing they think is relevant to other NOMEs or LOMEs.
Also the SCOME-wiki may serve as a forum to share biannual or annual reports of the Standing Committee since it can easily be edited by any member of the NMO.
Show me all pages that exist in SCOME-wikipedia so far!
Articles and comments in any other language will be deleted even if their topic relates to Medical Education!
In case you need help editing and layouting articles check this link, this one or this one!
A quick guide to the wiki-syntax can be found here!
