National activities

Last year we had three National SCOME meetings in Poland:

  1. in Krakow (19. - 20. February 2005),
  2. in Bialystok (8. - 10. April 2005) during the National Assembly,
  3. in Wroclaw (11. - 13. November 2005) during the National Assembly.

We had over 20 hours of training about project management and leadership provided by Group of Trainers for IFMSA-Poland (GTI) and our Executive Board.

SCOME-Poland participates in the Curriculum Database project of IFMSA.

Bialystok

LOME: Marcin Skrzydlo

"Breaking the Silence"-sign-language course
Course for about 50 Euro lasted for 6 months (60 hours). First level contains such knowledge as alphabet, numbers and 400 words.
"Doctors Days"
17. - 18. February 2005
Two-day workshops about jobs which are possible after medical study.
"Wampiriada" - Vampire night
9. June 2005
Free blood collecting among medical students of the Medical University Bialystok.
About 50 students were willing to give blood. Everything was organized in cooperation with Medical University Bialystok.
