The central coast of Peru shows a series of microclimates due to the atypical and influential cold Humboldt current which originates from the Antarctica, the nearness of the mountains and the tropical location, giving Lima a subtropical climate, desert and humid at the same time. You could say that Lima's climate is warm tropical, without excessive heat or cold extremes that require heating to at home. The average annual temperature is 18.5 to 19 ° C with a maximum annual summer about 29 ° C. Summer, December to April, with temperatures ranging between 28 and 21 ° C.
