	Medical education in Armenia is being represented by medical faculties in few private universities and the main governmental Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU). All of them are situating in Yerevan- the capital city.The YSMU has 4 departments: General Medicine,Dentistry,Pharmacology and Military Medicine.Basically you have to pass a test to be able to study Medicine. After this the curriculum lasts for 6 years. 	The first three years are mostly preclinical studies, followed by clinical studies. After graduation we have to do residency in desired field ,which lasts 3 years mainly (exepct OB/GYN and Plastic surgery -4 years.
